I just got the S8 and was able to transfer my Band2 to the new phone. I get text notifications fine and just about every tile seems to communicate fine with the phone (where it does in fact need to do so) with the exception of the Mail tile. Nothing comes through.
Now, just playing around, the gmail app on the phone does end up sending the notification to the band fine. It may be the default email app that is causing the problem (which, since this is a Samsung phone, is the Samsung email app).
Has anyone else had this issue?
Has anyone here had success with other email apps for Android?


Please help....
