Leonard also was one of 16 individuals who were invited to participate in Leroy's inaugural Money Talks competition at the Riviera Hotel and Casino, one of Leroy's more than 60 sports stores throughout Nevada.
Money Talks contestants had to pay to play: $2,500 each. Leroy's added another $10,000 for a total jackpot of $50 Al Kaline Jersey ,000.
The winner earns $40,000, the runnerup $10,000.
Leonard went 4-3 and had a plus $700 bankroll to defeat veteran sports gambler Chicago Pete Ventrella Alan Trammell Jersey , who was 2-4 (with Monday night's Seattle-Philadelphia game pending) and $1,060 in the hole.
As a finalist, Leonard is assured of collecting at least second prize, which will cover all those entry fees and then some.
He previously won the Sunset Station All-Star Handicappers Contest.
Each week the two showcased contestants make seven selections, college andor pro, against Leroy's Friday night line.
Money Talks plays are graded from $770 (to win $700) down to $110 (to win $100).
Leonard won his $700 pick on Tulsa minus 1 Cheap Detroit Tigers Jerseys , while Ventrella lost his on the 49ers plus 3.
Both players lost their $600 selections, Leonard on Virginia Tech-Florida State UNDER 46, Ventrella on the Jets plus 10.
Leonard's $500 choice, USC minus 21 Wholesale Tigers Jerseys , won handily; Ventrella's is on the Seahawks minus 4.
Leonard triumphed on UConn plus 15 with his $400 pick and Ventrella also clicked with his, the Giants minus 3.
Rounding out the results, Leonard's other winner was Tulsa ($200). He lost on the Falcons plus 3 ($100) and Lions plus 3 ($300).
Ventrella won his $300 wager on the Chiefs plus 1, but dropped a $100 play on the Bears-Packers OVER 31 and a $200 bet on the Titans plus 15.
Leonard's opponent in the championship showdown will be either gaming columnist Buzz Daly or former Sin City bookmaker Nick Bogdanovich.

All plant could be registered by 2010 if a plan put forward by the Plant Theft Action Group (PTAG) is accepted by the Home Office Cheap Tigers Jerseys , which is likely. The Home Office and police are increasingly concerned about the theft of Plant machinery in the build up to the 2012 Olympic Games in Britain.
Machines used on sites connected with the Olympic Games will have to be registered with a central database and carry stickers showing their identity number. Police will then be able to quickly search for a complete record of the machines details, 24 hours a day. People can also check with the directory that they are not buying stolen goods.
It is hoped that the scheme is widely adopted and a specialist Police plant theft unit is to be set up to target organised criminals. As with most specialist units, the unit will eventually be funded by confiscated money and property from those convicted.
A central database is to be created by a data handling company, which will issue a unique plant identification number for each piece of plant registered and hold details of the machine Daniel Norris Tigers Jersey , the owner and their contact details. Plant machinery will be divided into 6 categories A-F. Category A 'Large tracked and wheeled machines greater than six tonnes and Category B 'Small driven equipment less than six tonnes' will require six separate markings. DC Mark Galliers from the Metropolitan Police's TruckPol unit has been working with the plant theft action group. He explained:
"This number will be displayed on each machine on A4-sized tamper-proof stickers, as well as being painted on the roof and we will be able to check the number on a piece of plant at any time."
He would like to see the scheme adopted across the industry, and it seems very likely that insurance companies will soon insist on plant
